About Me
I received a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1998. I then completed a Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2001.
During my undergraduate studies, I interned at SafeHouse Denver, assisting victims of domestic violence. I completed a graduate internship at Porter Hospital’s Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorder program. I achieved certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado in 2004. I became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho after my family and I moved here in 2015.
After years of working for agencies in the mental health field, I set out to establish a private practice where I have the ability to provide counseling services driven by my client’s needs without restrictions set by agencies or programs.
I have been married for 25 years and am the mother of 2 amazing children and 2 adorable dogs. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and experiencing all that Idaho has to offer.
